Writing resources for young poets

On this, the last day of a very cruel April, we are launching a new page of writing resources for young poets. The activities are suitable for writers aged 11 and above. We hope that this page will inspire new writing, support young writers in their poetry development, help those who are being home-schooled and others who are looking for inspiration for the young writers in their lives. We hope to add new resources each month so do check back regularly.

Sue is a poet, Associate Professor in Education at Nottingham Trent University and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts. What They Left Behind, her third full poetry collection was published by Shoestring Press in 2018.
